Magdalena "Nena" Gomez Gonzalez, 88, was born August 18, 1935 in Guanajuato, Mexico and was called up to be with her Lord & Savior on December 20, 2023 in Houston, Texas. Nena was a loving, caring, very patient and strong mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. She was always willing to help and was always there for her grandchildren. Nena enjoyed listening to music, dancing, always giving compliments. She was the best cook, hard worker, and provider. Big Astros fan and Houston oiler. Nena will be missed dearly. She is preceded in death by her son, Jose Antonio Gonzalez; and her grandsons, Edgar Barrera and Eric Manuel Barrera. Nena leaves behind to cherish and treasure her memories her sons, Juan Manuel Gonzalez, Silverio Gonzalez Jr. & wife Maria del Rosario, Armando Gonzalez, Hector Gonzalez, Elias Gonzalez & wife Chrissy; her daughters, Isabel Barrera, Martha Gonzalez, Patricia Revilla; 17 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; She is also survived by many other relatives and a host of good friends. Nena will be dearly missed by all those who shared wonderful memories with her.
