Magdelena G. Ruano, 57, was born on April 16, 1961 in Houston, Texas and entered into eternal rest on August 28, 2018 in Houston, Texas.  She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend.  Magdelena loved spending time with her family and her furry companion Wyna.  She was a strong role model and always provided for her family.  Magdelena is preceded in death by her parents, Manuel Gutierrez and Rosa Becerra; her brothers, Thomas Gutierrez, Carlos Gutierrez, and James Gutierrez; and her sister, Virginia Gutierrez.  She is survived by her loving husband of 15 years, Jose Ruano; her son, Eliza Jr. Smith & Adriana Rodriguez; her daughters, Elizabeth Rivera & husband Nathan, and Crystal Ann Colley & husband Michael; her brother, Manuel Gutierrez; her sisters, Laura Lopez, Margarita Gutierrez, Debra Moreno, and Connie Palamino; her grandchildren, Caritina Renee Falcon, Carlos Herrera, Jr., Angel Renee Gutierrez, and Kyle M. Colley; her numerous nieces and nephews; and her furry companion Wyna.  Magdelena will be greatly missed by all who shared wonderful memories with her.
