Manuel G. Cortina 1937 - 2015

Manuel G. Cortina, 77, was born on September 8, 1937 in Nuevo Leon, Mexico to Hilarion Cortina and Jovita Garcia and was called home to be with his "Lord and Savior" on August 4, 2015 in Houston, Texas. Mr. Cortina is survived by his Wife of 42 years, Maria Elisa Cortina; his Son, Jesus Manuel Cortina 7 wife Yesenia; as well as by numerous Nieces and Nephews. A Loving Husband and Father, hard working family man who always lend a hand, with a zest for life will be greatly missed.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 6, 2015 from 5pm to 9pm with a Rosary being recited at 7pm at The Compean Funeral Home Family Chapel. Mass will be celebrated on Friday, August 7, 2015 at 11:30am at The Compean Funeral Home Family Chapel. Interment will follow in Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery.
