Manuel E. Garcia "Meme" 1940 - 2016

Manuel E. Garcia, 76, was born on February 16, 1940 in Sugarland, Texas and was called home to be with his Lord and Savior on May 10, 2016 in Pasadena, Texas. Manuel is survived by his sons, Manuel Anthony Garcia & wife Hope, Gilbert Garcia & wife Yolanda, and Nicolas Garcia; his daughters, Albina Arizmendez and Janie Perez; his sisters, Isabel Mendoza and Lucy Martinez, his 12 grandchildren, Christina, Eddie, Christopher, Jennifer, Vicente, Chad, Chelsea, Ashley, Letty, Erik, Nicolas, and Danielle; 11 great grandchildren ; also survived by his former wife, Antonia Garcia Lara.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 12, 2016 from 4pm to 9pm with a Rosary being recited at 7pm at The Compean Funeral Home Family chapel. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, May 13, 2016 at 10am at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church (7539 E Avenue L, Houston, TX 77012). Rite of Committal will follow in Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery.
