Manuela Alvarado 1922 ~ 2016

Manuela Alvarado, 93, was born on July 23, 1922 in Sombrerete, Zacatecas, Mexico and went home with her heavenly Father on May 17, 2016 in Houston, Texas. Manuela was preceded in death by her father, Isidro Acevedo; her mother, Maria Amador; her husband, Francisco Alvarado; and her son, Rodrigo Alvarado. She is survived by her sons, Pablo Antonio Alvarado & wife Mary Jane, Jesus Alvarado & wife Maria del Refugio, and Efrain Alvarado; her daughters, Elizabeth Alvarado and Rosa Irene Sosa & husband Reyes; 27 grandchildren and 44 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Friday, May 20, 2016 from 4pm to 9pm with a Prayer Service at 7pm at The Compean Funeral Home Main Chapel. Committal service will take place on a later day in Nueva Rosita, Coahuila, Mexico.
