Manuela Mercado Gomez, 73, entered into eternal rest on February 11, 2015 at her residence in Houston, Texas. Manuela was born on October 28, 1941 in Tamaulipas, Mexico to Edmundo Mercado and Ramona Jauregui. She is preceded in death by her beloved Parents and survived by her Husband, Serafin Gomez; Sons, Armando Gomez, Margarito Gomez, Serafin gomez, Rolando Gomez, Cesar Gomez, Arnulfo Gomez, Edmundo Gomez, Jose Guadalupe Gomez, Carlos Gomez, and Fernando Gomez; Daughters, Francisca Gomez and Maria Gomez; Brothers, Leopoldo Mercado, Alberto Mercado, and Jesus Mercado; Sisters, Gloria Mercado, Concepcion Mercado, Delia Mercado, and Maricela Mercado; 26 Grandchildren and 17 Great Grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Friday, February 13, 2015 from 3pm to 9pm with a Rosary Prayer Service at 7pm. Interment will take place in Panteon Municial de El Realito, Valle Hermoso, Tamaulipas, Mexico on a later day.
