Marcia Laird Lozano, 69, of Pasadena, Texas passed away March 13, 2022. She was born in Houston, Texas on October 1, 1952 to Haywood and Juanita Johnson Laird. She was married to Leo Lozano, Sr., for 25 years.
Marcia worked and retired from the Port of Houston, then worked at Jacinto Port. She attended schools in Pasadena ISD and graduated from Pasadena High School. Marcia loved to bake, crochet, read, play the piano, loved music, and dancing. One of Marcia's hobbies was to raise Chows, train and show at dog shows.
Marcia always had a kind word and was a generous loving soul. Her gentle spirit and loving nature knew no bounds. You could not know her and not love her as she had a heart of gold. Her sense of humor and wit could take any situation and turn it into something funny. She was one of those people who could have you laughing and make you forget all your problems. She was one to worry more about everyone else than herself. We will always love and cherish the memories of her love and generosity she demonstrated to everyone, we will miss her laughter and the sound of her voice. We know you're not far from us, only a whisper away.
Marcia is preceded in death by her parents Haywood and Juanita Johnson Lair, in-laws Anselmo and Mary Flores; sons, Craig Davis and Charles Davis Jr., and son-in-law David Aldridge.
She is survived by husband, Leo Lozano, Sr., her baby Chloe girl, sister Gwen Smith; children, Christopher & Rachel Ballard, Michael & Amanda Ballard, JoAnn Aldridge, Debbie & Denny Atheron, Leo Lozano Jr., Joel & Tricia Lozano, Julie & Ray Yuchnewicz. Her daughter-in-law, Celina Davis; sisters-in-law, Rosie Hernandez, Yolanda Trevino; brother-in-law, Joel & LeaAnn Flores, numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, cousins, nieces and nephews.
During this time of mourning we rejoice by knowing that she is at peace with God in heaven looking down upon us with a smile knowing that one day her husband, children, family and friends will join her.
I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race,
I HAVE KEPT THE FAITH.
