Marco Antonio Cortez, 41, was born on November 5, 1974 in Houston, Texas and entered into eternal rest on July 2, 2016 in Houston, Texas. Marco was a loving Husband and Father; devoted to his children, very giving person. Houston sports fan, Texas and Astros. He was preceded in death by his mohter, Francisca Cortez and by his sister Belinda Josey. Marco is survived by his father, Roberto Lopez Cortez; his loving wife of 16 years, Veronica Salazar; his sons, Xavier Cortez and Nicholas Cortez; his daughters, Keila Cortez and Katarina Cortez; his brothers, Roberto Cortez, Roel Cortez, Enrique Cortez, and Jose Carlos Cortez; his sisters, Maria del Rosario Greaves, Margaret Marque, and Alma San Miguel; also survived by many relatives and friends.

Visitation will take place on Thursday, July 7, 2016 from 5pm to 9pm at The Compean Funeral Home Main Chapel. Cremation will take place on a later day.
