Maria Rios Castro

Maria Rios Castro, 91, was born March 7, 1931 in Guanacevi, Durango, Mexico and was called up to be with her Lord & Savior on October 12, 2022 in Houston, Texas. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, and friend. She impacted the lives of many with generosity and fun loving personality.  She leaves behind a great legacy and will be dearly missed by all. She is preceded in death by her mother, Geronima Rios; her sister, Juana Sanchez; her brother, Ignacio Rios; and her loving husband, Santos Torres. She is survived by her sons, Arturo Rodriguez (Patricia), Nick Rodriguez, Santos Torres, Jr. (Anita), Celso Torres (Deborah); her daughters, Alice Ellis (Brian), Julia Escamilla (Roger); 18 grandchildren; and 23 great grandchildren. Maria will be dearly missed by all those who shared wonderful memories with her.
