Maria learned to be a hard worker when she started working at a very young age as a migrant worker going all over the US wherever they could work. She joined Job Corp at 17 and learned her trade. She was a typesetter and proofreader for Curtis 1000 when it was sold and relocated to Atlanta, Georgia. She retired and went back to learning a hobby. She took classes in ceramics and worked many years for different people. She was a people person and always there to help anyone that needed help. She always had a sparkle in her eye and her face just shined.
She had a very long, hard battle with cancer twice, but it got to be too much for her. Our family wishes to thank Dr. Froom, Dr. Heyne, & Dr. Green and their staff for all they did for her.
