Maria Bertha Gonzalez

Maria Bertha Gonzalez, 77, was born on June 7, 1939 in Mexico and was called up to be with her Lord and Savior on May 24, 2017 in Houston, Texas. Maria is preceded in death by her parents, Coltilde "Cotita" Reyes Perez and Bernadina "Nina" Reyes Perez. Maria is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, Jose Gonzalez; her sons, Luis "Chequito" Sergio Gonzalez, Jorge Gonzalez, Jose "Lalo" Gerardo. Gonzalez & wife Yvette, Javier Gonzalez & wife Lisa, and Antonio Gonzalez & wife Veronica; her daughter, Diana Cupples & husband Bob; her grandchildren Araceli & Robert Rodriguez, Elizabeth Gonzalez and Ryan Cooper, Erika Diana Gonzalez, Juan Antonio "Juanchy" & Jeanette Huezo, Emma Marie Gonzalez, Sabrina Estelle Gonzalez, Steven Ryan Gonzalez, Lauren Alyse Gonzalez, Cristian Daniel Fernandez, Daniel Gonzalez, and Mia Isabella Gonzalez; and her great grandchildren, Ava & Alexa Rodriguez, Jake Ryan Huezo, and Sarah Claire Huezo. Maria Bertha Gonzalez will be greatly missed by all who knew and shared wonderful memories with her.

Visitation will be held on Friday, May 26, 2017 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 pm at the Compean Funeral Home Main Chapel. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, May 27, 2017 at 9:30 am at the Compean Funeral Home Main Chapel. Rite of Committal will follow in Forest Park East Cemetery.
