Maria De Jesus Avalos, 63, was born on February 5, 1955 in Jalisco, Mexico to Flaviano Avalos & Maria Guadalupe Gutierrez and was called home to be with her Lord and Savior on June 17, 2018 at her residence in Houston, Texas while surrounded by her loving family.  Maria was preceded in death by her parents and she leave behind to cherish her memories her loving husband of 41 years, Jesus Angel Valdez; her sons, Jesus Valdez & wife Mariso, Fabian Valdez & wife Amalia, and Abraham Valdez & wife Ilasenia; her brother, Florentino Avalos; her sisters, Irene Galdamez, Emilia Figueroa, Antonia Mendez, Francisca Cortez, Guadalupe Jimenez, Cristina Maldonado, and Gloria Mata; her grandchildren, Jessie Marie, Victoria de Jesus, David Adolfo, Fabian Valdez, Jr., Giovanni, Maximiliano, Evelyn, and Vincent; also many other relatives and friends.  Maria will be dearly missed by all those who she touched.

Times:  4:00pm - 9:00pm

Funeral Service:  7:00pm

Location:  Compean Funeral Home Main Chapel

Cremation will take place on a later day
