Maria de Jesus Muñoz Gaona,, 46, was born on August 20, 1975 in Chicago, Illinois and was called home to be with her Lord and Savior on October 13, 2021 in Houston, Texas.  She was preceded in death by her brother in law, Richard De Leon; also by her aunt, Rosario Torres.  She leaves behind to cherish and treasure her memories her father, Jose Guadalupe Muñoz; her mother, Rosa Mendoza Muñoz; her loving husband of 12 years of marriage, Pedro Luis Gaona; her brothers, Julio J. Muñoz and Jose M. Muñoz; her sister, Dolores Reynaga and Rosa E. Muñoz; she also leaves behind many other relatives and numerous friends.  Maria will be dearly missed by all those who shared wonderful memories with her.

Visitation:  Saturday, October 16, 2021

Times:  5:00pm - 9:00pm

Funeral Service:  8:00pm

Location:  Compean Funeral Home Family Chapel.

Cremation will take place on a later date.
