Maria A. Leija

Maria A. Leija, 88, was born on April 23, 1927 in Smithville, Texas and went home to be with her "Lord and Savior" on April 25, 2015 in Houston, Texas. Preceded in death by her Father, Juan Arredondo; Mother, Rafaela Gonzalez; Sons, Isidro Campos, Juan Campos, and Simon Campos. Survived by her husband of 35 year, Jose Leija; Sons, George Camposn and Edward Campos, Sr.; Daughers, Esther Campos Palomino and husband Jose, Sr., Rosalinda Campos, Rafaela Campos Carmona, Dominga Capmos, and Carmen Campos Islas; 42 Grandchildren; numerous Great Grand Children; and numerous Great Great Grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 29, 2015 from 4pm to 9pm with a Rosary being recited at 7pm at The Compean Funeral Home Main Chapel. A Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, April 30, 2015 at 10am at St. Pius Catholic Church. Rite of Committal to follow in Grandview Cemetery
