Maria Isabel Montiel, 65, nació el 2 de diciembre de 1952 en Tamaulipas, México y fué llamada a casa de Nuestro Señor y Salvador el 28 de mayo del 2018 en Houston, Texas rodeada por su amada familia.  Maria fue una madre y abuela amorosa; siempre dedicada a su familia.  Una persona amable, fuerte e independiente que siempre se encargó de otros antes que de ella misma.  Maria hacía sonreír a todos con su gran sentido del humor.  Le preceden en vida su padre, Marcelino Garcia Guevara; su madre, Francisca Alonso Morales; también su amado esposo, Juan Antonio Montiel.  Le sobreviven para atesorar sus recuerdos sus hijos, Sergio Montiel, Juan Antonio Montiel, Jr. y esposa Eva, Danny Montiel y Eddy Montiel; sus hijas, Orfelinda Montiel y esposo Rafael y Esmeralda Montiel;  sus hermanos, Gilardo Garcia, Javier Garcia y Marcelino Garcia; sus hermanas, Margarita Garcia, Baldina Garcia, Elvira Garcia, y Julia Garcia; sus nietos Lee, Joshua, Isabella, Kassandra, Lizeth, Brittney, Crystal, Andrew, Anthony, Leslie, Samantha. Sergio, Alex, Allison Danny, Jessica Danny, y Stephanie Angelica, sus bisnietos; Jordan, Arianna, Adalynn, Julian y Adrianna; también le sobreviven muchos otros familiares y amigos.  Maria será recordada con amor y cariño por todos aquellos que su hermosa alma tocó.

Maria Isabel Montiel, 65, was born in Tamaulipas, Mexico on December 2, 1952 to Marcelino Garcia Guevara and Francisca Alonso Morales and was called to be with her Lord and Savior on May 28, 2018. She was a very loving and dedicated mother and grandmother. Maria was always kind, strong, and independent. She made sure to take care of others before worrying about herself. Maria was preceded in death by her parents; also by her husband Juan Antonio Montiel.  She leaves behind to cherish her memories her sons, Sergio Montiel, Juan Antonio Montiel, Jr. & wife Eva, Danny Montiel, and Eddy Montiel; her daughters, Orfelinda Montiel & husband Rafael, and Esmeralda Montiel; her brothers, Gilardo Garcia, Javier Garcia, and Marcelino Garcia; her sisters, Margarita Garcia, Baldina Garcia, Elvira Garcia, and Julia Garcia; her grandchildren, Lee, Joshua, Isabella, Kassandra, Lizeth, Brittney, Crystal, Andrew, Anthony, Leslie, Samantha. Sergio, Alex, Allison Danny, Jessica Danny, and Stephanie Angelica; her great grandchildren, Jordan, Arianna, Adalynn, Julian, and Adrianna; also many other relatives and friends. Maria will be dearly missed by all those that were touched by her beautiful soul.
