Maria Valeria Ortiz

Maria Valeria Ortiz, 77, was born May 5, 1938 in San Luis Potosi, Mexico and was called up to be with her Lord and Savior on March 20, 2016 in Houston, Texas. She is preceded in death by her mother, Victoria Vigil and her husband, Anselmo Guel Ortiz. She is survived by her sons. Jesus Lopez & wife Magdalena, Julio Ortiz & wife Alicia, Jorge Ortiz; her daughters, Maria Elena Lopez & husband Jose Arrela, Ofelia Mata, Luisa Torres & husband Eugene, Trinidad Roque & husband Jose Luis, Rocio Patricia Gonzalez & husband Mauro, Veronica Anguiano & husband Rogelio, Guicela Lopez; her brothers. Tarciso Vigil, Nemesio Vigil, Francisco Lopez, Javier Gallerdo; her sisters, Gregoria Herrera, Lidia Vigil; 32 Grandchildren; 23 Great Grandchildren; and 2 Great Great Grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 23, 2016 from 4pm - 9pm with a Rosary to be recited at 7pm at The Compean Funeral Home Main Chapel. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, March 24, 2016 at 11am at The Compean Funeral Home Main Chapel. Rite of Committal will follow in Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery.
