Maria del Socorro Montemayor

Maria del Socorro Montemayor, 79, entered into Eternal Rest October 15, 2014. Ms. Montemayor was born in San Luis Potosi Mexico on January 27, 1935 to Santiago Galicia and Nieves Zamora. She is preceded in death by her beloved parents and husband. Ms. Montemayor is survived by her sons: Julio C. Montemayor & wife Bertha A., Manuel Montemayor & wife Sylvia, Jose A. Montemayor & wife Lisa A., Francisco Montemayor & wife Maria L., and Luis Montemayor & wife Catalina. her daghters Marina Cepeda & husband Jose M., Erica Del Valle, Ileana G. Ramey & husband Gary D., and Socorro Acosta & husband Cesar M.; also by her sister Amalia Galicia, 28 Grandchildren and 23 Great Grandchildren. Visitation will be held Friday, October 17, 2014 from 3PM-9PM at The Compean Funeral Home Family Chapel with a Rosary Service at 7PM. Funeral Service will take place Saturday, October 18, 2014 at 11AM at The Compean Funeral Home Main Chapel. Interment to follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery.
