Maria Robles Velasquez

Maria was preceded in death by her husband, Everardo Martinez Velasquez, Sr. (1997) and her son, Henry Reyna, Jr. (2004).  She leaves behind to cherish her memories her sons, Arturo Deleon (late wife, Martha Deleon), Everardo "Eddie Velasquez, Jr. & wife Patricia, and Alfredo "Freddy" Velasquez; her daughters, Teresa Herrera (late husband, David Richard Herrera), Josefina Velasquez & husband, Marcus Rodriguez, and Alicia V. German & husband Juan M. German, Jr.; her daughter in law, Linda Ann Reyna; her sister, Noemi Del Valle; 18 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; also a host of other relatives and friends.

She was a very loving Wife to her husband and Mother to her children. She was the pillar of strength to her entire family. She defended her children and grandchildren to the fullest. She always had a lot of love to give. Was always fair and held no grudges towards anyone. She had a beautiful aura of positive energy that would radiate out of her. A true fashionista and an outstanding cook. Her best dishes were cornbread dressing and fried chicken. She had a great sense of humor and could laugh at herself. She loved her morning coffee. And her hobbies were watching a good boxing match, a good tennis match and had an awesome green thumb.

She will be dearly missed by all of those who loved her.
