Marina Fuentes Rodriguez

 It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Marina Fuentes Rodriguez, at the age of 81. She peacefully departed on April 4, 2025, at her daughter's home, surrounded by those who loved her.

Marina was born on March 16, 1944, in Williamston, Michigan, to Jacob and Ofelia Fuentes. She was the fourth of nine children. Raised in Eagle Pass, Texas, Marina met her future husband, Benjamin C. Rodriguez, while in high school. They were married in December 1968 and later moved to Houston, Texas, where they raised three children: their daughter, Araceli, and sons Benjamin Jr. and Patrick.

Throughout her life, Marina worked in various roles but devoted much of her time to her family. She had a deep love for sewing, flower arranging, crafting, gardening, and shopping, and she found great joy in spending time with friends at her local community center.

Marina’s radiant smile and compassionate spirit left an enduring impact on all who knew her. She will be remembered for her kindness, warmth, and unwavering love.

Marina is survived by her three children, Araceli, Benjamin Jr. and wife Erin, and Patrick and wife Anna Laura; eight grandchildren, Eric, Lauren, Benjamin, Tyler, Nicholas, Patrick Jr., Jacob, and Blake; five great-grandchildren, Miloh, Liam, Savannah, Luca, and Rocky; three sisters, Janie, Elida, and Rosalva; and three brothers, Frank, Oscar, and Manrique.

We will miss you dearly, Mom. You will forever be in our hearts. Rest in peace, with all our love.
