Mario Lara Gutierrez, 75, was born on January 8, 1945 in Kingsville, Texas and was called up to be with his Lord and Savior on August 27, 2020 in Houston, Texas.  Mario was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend.  He was preceded in death by his parents, David Gutierrez and Guadalupe Lara.  Mario leaves behind to cherish his memories, his loving wife of 49 years, Eulalia Gutierrez; his children, Simon Gutierrez and Patricia Gutierrez; his brothers, Alfredo Gutierrez and Rogelio Gutierrez; his sister, Marita Fick; his grandchildren, Mikhael Gutierrez, Amauri Cruz, Brandon, Bryan, and Stacy; and many other relatives and friends.  Mario will be greatly missed by all who were touched by his loving soul.
