Martha Martinez was born on June 23, 1934 in Martinitos, Nuevo Leon, Mexico to her loving parents Juan Martinez Hernandez & Felipa Valdez. Martha was called home to be with with her Lord and Savior on February 9, 2017 in Houston, Texas while being surrounded by her loving family. Martha was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Juan Jose Martinez; and her siblings, Dominga Martinez, Carmela Martinez, and Omar Martinez. She is survived by the rest of her family, her sons, Gilberto Martinez and wife Olga, Joe Martinez, Gerardo Martinez & wife Diana, Roy Martinez & wife Melissa, & Juan Jose Martinez; her daughters, Minerva Montemayor & husband Juan Ramon, Irma Marisela Martinez & husband Juan Manuel, Gloria Idalia Villarreal & husband Tomas, & Rosie Martinez; 23 grandchildren; and 14 great grandchildren. Martha will be dearly missed by all of her family and friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, February 10, 2017 from 4pm to 9pm with a Rosary being recited at 7pm at The Compean Funeral Home Family Chapel.Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, February 11, 2017 at 9:30am officiated by Father Benigno Pardo at The Compean Funeral Home Main Chapel.Rite of Committal will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery.
