Mary Helen Hernandez

Mary Helen Hernandez, 76, was born on December 24, 1947 in Galveston, Texas and entered into eternal rest on June 16, 2024 in Houston, Texas. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who loved spending time with family and friends. She was also a dedicated Dallas Cowboys fan, she cheered on her team with unwavering enthusiasm during every game season. Beyond football, she found joy in music and dancing and in going to the beach. She is preceded in death by her parents John Hernandez & Hortense Galvan Hernandez; her daughter, Cynthia Ann Westberry; her brother John Hernandez; and her sister, Hermelinda Martinez. She leaves behind to cherish her loving memories, her daughter, Rachel Hernandez & husband Dwayne; her grandchildren, Dwayne Michael Hernandez Jr., Melissa Lysette Hernandez, Mya Renee Hernandez, Jose Juan Hernandez, Wendell Westberry III, and Cristina Westberry; She is also survived by 2 great grandchildren, her beloved puppy Chula, and host of good friends and family members. Mary Helen will be dearly missed by all those who shared wonderful memories with her. 

The family has requested for everyone to please wear blue or Dallas Cowboys gear to honor Mary Helen's love for the Dallas Cowboys.
