Mary Louise Torres, 71, was born on June 16, 1944 in Houston, Texas to Louis and Ruth Mireles, and was called home to be with her "Lord and Savior" on October 2, 2015 in Houston, Texas. Mary is survived by her Sons, David Talamantez, John Salinas, and Joe Salinas, Jr.; her Daughters, Debra Vargas & husband Pete and Kathy Talamantez; her Brothers, Jesse and Edward; her Sister, Carol; her Grandchildren, Adrian, Joel, Peter, Jason, Star, and Alice; and her Great Grandchildren, Natalie, Arianna, Nevaeh, Daylen Isaiah, Paislee Michelle, and Maddisson Leanne.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 7, 2015 from 4pm to 9pm with a Rosary being recited at 7pm at The Compean Funeral Home Main Chapel. Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, October 8, 2015 at 10am at The Compean Funeral Home Main Chapel. Rite of Committal will follow in Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery.
