Mary Torres Garcia, 87, was born November 23, 1935 in Lockhart, Texas and entered eternal rest on January 10, 2023 in Pasadena, Texas. Mary was a a loving mother of 6, grandmother of 11, great-grandmother of 16, great-great-grandmother of 2, sister, and friend. Mary enjoyed opening her house to everyone and never judged anyone. She was very caring and compassionate. Mary enjoyed dancing, having a good time, and entertaining at her house. She took care of all her grandkids and always shared a joke. Mary was a woman of faith, family, and lots of wisdom to share with others. She is preceded in death by her parents, Margarito Torres & Simona Arevalo; and her loving husband, Robert Garcia. She leaves behind to cherish and treasure her memories her sons, Alfred Torres, Arthur Torres & wife Dinah; her daughters, Cris Ortiz, Clara Villarreal, Cynthia Vasquez & husband Rudy, Corina Ibanez; her brother, Richard Torres; her sisters, Margarita Gutierrez, Carlota Felice; 11 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; She is also survived by many other relatives and a host of good friends. Mary will be dearly missed by all those who shared wonderful memories with her.
