Melissa Ann Guerra joined the angels in heaven on April 9, 2014. She was 23. Melissa was brought into this World by her father, Paul Guerra and mother, Annette Mendez on April 16, 1990. She had such a loving heart and warm spirit. Melissa is preceded in death by her great-grandmother Dora Whitworth; paternal grand parents, Valdimar & Sally Guerra and uncle Keith Caldwell. She leaves her everlasting memories to her Father, Paul Guerra; Mother, Annette Mendez; daughter, Mary Jane Salinas; brothers, John Paul Guerra and wife Abigail, Steven Ray Guerra and Eric Renee Guerra; sister, Ashley Nicole Guerra; maternal grandparents, Lupe and Sylvia Mendez; nieces, Syriana and Jaiden Guerra; uncle David Mendez and Wife Crystal Melendez and uncle/god father Arthur Villarreal as well as a numerous amount of friends.

A visitation with the family will begin on Tuesday, April 15, 2014 from 3pm-9pm with a Rosary to be recited by Mrs. Rachel Rodriguez of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church at 7pm in the Compean Main Chapel. Funeral Services are scheduled to begin at 10am on Melissa's 24th birthday, Wednesday, April 16, 2014 in the Compean Main Chapel. Services will be officiated by Father Kevin of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Interment will follow in Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery.
