Michael Anthony Barrera

Michael Anthony Barrera, 56, was born on August 30, 1968, in Houston, Texas, and peacefully entered eternal rest on December 21, 2024, in his beloved hometown. Michael was a devoted husband, father, son, brother, and uncle, whose warmth and kindness will leave a lasting imprint on all who knew him.

 He was preceded in death by his father, Ariel Barrera. Michael’s memory will be lovingly cherished by his wife of 31 years, Diana Barrera; his children, Matthew Adam Barrera, Marcelo Adan Barrera, Macario Aron Barrera, and Daniela Maria Barrera; his mother, Maria Gonzalez; and his siblings, Mark Barrera and Vanessa Espinoza. He also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, and a wide circle of dear friends.

Michael’s life was defined by his love for family, his generous spirit, and the countless beautiful moments he shared with those around him. He will be deeply missed but forever remembered by all who were fortunate to have him in their lives.
