Michael Palacios, 57, was born in Richmond, Texas, on June 19, 1967, and was called home to be with his Lord and Savior on March 13, 2025, in Pasadena, Texas.

Michael was a devoted son, ensuring he called his mother daily just to check in and let her know he cared. He was a loving husband, son, and brother—a man of unwavering kindness, generosity, and warmth. His beloved wife, Cheryl, was his heaven-sent soulmate, and he cherished her dearly.

With a heart for others, Michael took joy in caring for those around him. Whether it was cooking for his employees or always looking out for them, he made sure everyone felt valued. A true good neighbor, he took it upon himself to mow many of his neighbors' lawns and watch over their homes when they were away, just as they did for him and his family.

Michael had a deep passion for sports, especially as a lifelong Dallas Cowboys fan, never missing a chance to watch them play. He was also an avid boxing enthusiast, particularly a dedicated supporter of Canelo Álvarez.

He is survived by his father, Ramon Palacios Jr.; his mother, Yolanda Palacios Dominguez; his loving wife of 23 years, Cheryl Ann Palacios; his daughter, Dallas; his brother, Mario Maldonado; his sister, Veronica Parks; his niece, Dalila Hammond; and his nephew, Douglas Hammond. He also leaves behind many other cherished family members and dear friends.

Michael's kindness, love, and generosity will be deeply missed but forever remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
