Miguel Ortiz Godinez, 27, was born on February 24, 1989 in Torreon, Coahuila, Mexico and was called home to be home with his Lord and Savior on April 11, 2016 in Houston, Texas. Miguel was preceded in death by his father, Miguel Ortiz Moreno. He is survived by his mother, Maricruz Godinez Beltran; loving wife, Paula Guadalpe Valadez; his son, Miguel Alexander Ortiz; daughter, Melanie Guadalupe Ortiz Valadez; brother, Ivan Ortiz Godinez; sisters, Ivon Ortiz Godinez and Maricruz Ortiz; paternal grandfather, Aristeo Ortiz Huerta; mother in law, Beatriz Maldonado; also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives, and friends.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 16, 2016 from 3pm to 7pm with a Celebration of Mass at 6pm at The Compean Funeral Home Family Chapel. Cremation will take place on a later day.
