Miguel Angel Romero, 66, was born on May 8, 1950 in La Union, El Salvador to Fermin Sorto Herrera and Alejandra Romero Medrano and was called home to be with his Lord and Savior on October 18, 2016 while surrounded by his loving family at his residence in Galena Park, Texas. Miguel was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Maria Luisa Sorto. Miguel leaves behind to cherish his memories his loving wife of 40 years, Petrona Romero; his sons, Oscar Remberto Romero & wife Kiancy, Miguel Angel Romero, Jr., and Leonel Alberto Romero & wife Ahidee Teresa; his daughter, Selena Joselyn Claire Romero; his brothers, Catalino Sorto, Ricardo Sorto, Santos Faustino Sorto, Juan Carlos Sorto, Fidel Sorto, Salomon Enrique Sorto, and Fermin Sorto, Jr.; his sisters, Maria Santana Romero, Rosaura Romero, Felicitas Romero, Juana Sorto, Teresa De Jesus Sorto, Agustina Del Rosario Sorto, and Ana Matilde Sorto; his grandchildren, Leonel Dominique Romero, Jaysen Alexander Romero, Jaxon Romero, Dorian Mata, Michelle Rocha, Kaylan Christine Romero, and Kariana Annabel Romero.

Visitation will take place on Friday, October 21, 2016 from 5pm to 9pm at St. Benedict Catholic Church (4025 Grapevine St., Houston, TX 77045) and a Funeral Mass being celebrated on Saturday, October 22, 2016 at 9am. Rite of Committal will follow in Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery.
