Mike A. Cervantes, 80, was born on May 5, 1936 to Martin Cervantes and Lorenza Arriaga in Charco, Texas and was called home to be with his Lord and Savior on January 17, 2017 in Houston, Texas. Mike was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and friend. He leaves behind to cherish precious memories his loving wife of 55 years of marriage, Elida Cervantes; his sons, Timothy Cervantes & wife Dina, Aaron Cervantes & wife Beth, and Mike Cervantes, Jr. & wife Gabriela; his daughters, Socorro Martinez & husband Paul, Elizabeth Vela & husband Daniel, Delia Cervantes & husband Abel Nuncio, Naomi Olmeda & husband Edward, Ruth De Luna & husband Rolando, and Lydia Juarez & husband Jesse; his sisters, Magdalena Miranda and Mary Gonzalez; 19 grandchildren, A.J., Jonathan, Adam, Michael Daniel, Stephen, Jessica, Abel, Jr., Ariel, Silver, Emerald, Mia, Marcus, Joshua, Riana, Rebecca, Hector, Timothy, Jr., Marco, and Gabriela; 2 great grandchildren, Elizabeth and Jayden; also many relatives and friends. Mike will be dearly missed by all those who shared with him in life.

Visitation will take place on Friday, January 20, 2017 from 5pm to 9pm with a Prayer Service at 7pm at The Compean Funeral Home Main Chapel. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, January 21, 2017 at 11:30am The Compean Funeral Home Main Chapel. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
