Modesto Banda, 88, was born on January 12, 1930 in Fashing, Texas to Tomas & Petra Banda and was called home to be with his Lord and Savior on September 17, 2018 at his residence in Houston, Texas while surrounded by his loving family. Modesto leaves behind to cherish his memories his daughters, Juana Cecilia Banda, Mierva Banda, Graciela Osorio, Rita Delgado, and Bobbie Goodwin; his sons, Juan Carlos Banda and Mario Huerta; his brothers, Jaime Banda and Silvestre Banda; his sister, Margarita Garza; his grandchildren, Ricardo, Victor, Andrea, Michael, Elias, Desiree, Celeste, Christina, Johnny, Jimmy, Robert, Jessica, Carmen, Tori, Alison, Tara, Kevin, and Tiffany; his great grandchildren, Nataniel, Roman, Ramy, Gracelyn, Keren, Daniel, Hannah, Judah, Sophia, and Elijah; Elias, Jr., Albino, and Rey; also many other relatives and friends. Modesto will be dearly missed by all those that were touched by his love.
