Mona Lisa Hawkins Garcia, 63, was born on May 5, 1961, in Laredo, Texas, and peacefully passed away on February 14, 2025, in Houston, Texas. A devoted mother and grandmother, Mona Lisa's warmth and love touched all who knew her. She leaves behind her beloved sons, Joerl Escareno and Daniel Escareno (and his wife Jeanette), as well as her cherished grandchildren, Stone, Julian, and Daniel. In addition, she is survived by numerous family members and a wide circle of dear friends. Mona Lisa's memory will forever be treasured by those fortunate enough to have shared in her life, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
