Nahum Solis 1931 ~ 2016

Nahum Solis, 84, was born on December 1, 1931 in Mexico, Mexico to Alejandro Solis and Felix Hernandez, he was called home to be with his Lord and Savior on March 10, 2016 in Arcola, Texas while surrounded by his loving family. Nahum is preceded in death by his beloved parents. Survivors include his wife of 64 years, Amadea Gorostieta de Solis; sons, Alejandro Solis, Nahum Solis & wife Reyna, and Lionel Solis & wife Maritza; daughters, Elisa Solis, Bertha Solis, Elva Solis, and Laura Solis; 23 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Monday, March 14, 2016 from 4pm to 9pm with a Rosary being recited at 7:30pm at The Compean Funeral Home Family Chapel. Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, March 15, 2016 at 10am at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church (6502 CR 48, Manvel, TX 77578). Rite of Committal will follow in Houston Memorial Gardens.
