Nicholas "Nick" Oropeza, Sr.

1928 ~ 2018

Nicholas "Nick" Oropeza, 90, was born on March 22, 1928 to Atanazio Oropeza and Juana Salas Oropeza and was called home to Our Lord's heavenly kingdom on November 17, 2018.  He was a man of faith; a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend.  He proudly served in the US Army during the Korean Era.  He was a faithful parishioner at St. Christopher Catholic Church, were he served as an usher, was a member of the St. Vincent De Paul Society and a bazaar chairman.  He was preceded in death by his parents; his son, Nick Oropeza, Jr.; and his daughter, Patricia Ann Oropeza.  He leaves behind to cherish his memories his loving wife, Josephine Oropeza; his son, Michael Oropeza; his daughter, Cathy Brock; his sister, Rosie Quiroga; his grandchildren, Christopher Oropeza, Joel Brock, Lauren Brock, and Nicole Oropeza; numerous nephews and nieces; and other relatives and friends.  Nick will be dearly missed by those whose lives he touched.
