Ofelia Camarillo Pavon, 84, was born on November 28, 1936 and was called home to be with her Lord and Savior at Hermann Hospital in Houston, Texas on March 7, 2021.  She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 63 years, Delfino Pavon Sr.; her parents, Eugenio P. Camarillo and Maria G. Camarillo; siblings, Gloria C. Olvera, Herminia Hernandez, Rosa C. Domanski, Eugenio Camarillo Jr., Cruz Camarillo, and Reynaldo Camarillo.  She leaves behind to cherish and treasure her memories her siblings, Evangelina Newman, Raul Camarillo, and Enrique Camarillo. her loving children, Delfino Pavon, Jr. & wife Kim Smith, Oscar Pavon, Hector Pavon, Rafael Pavon, and Ofelia Pavon & husband David Sosa; her grandchildren, Danielle Deveau & husband James, Devin M. Bennett, Dorian Sosa, Kiana Janine Sosa, Hadassah Sky Pavon, Ariel Zoe Pavon; her great granddaughter, Genevieve Rainbolt.  Ofelia was a ray of sunshine in everyone’s life.  She and her husband did volunteer work for the Red Cross, delivered food and clothing to those in need, volunteered in hospitals for emergency preparation, and sang, bringing much joy to residents in nursing homes. In addition, she and her husband always helped with the voting of Presidential Elections.  Her most rewarding experience was from her participation in coordinating activities for Seniors at the Magnolia Multicenter.  She will be greatly missed, because to know Ofelia – was to love her.

Location:  Immaculate Conception Catholic Church (7250 Harrisburg Blvd., Houston, TX 77011)

Cremation will take place on a later date.
