Oscar Cortez 1953 ~ 2016

Oscar Cortez, 62, was born on August 12, 1953 in Houston, Texas to Ruben Cortez and Antonia Mata and was called home to be with his Lord and Savior on June 9, 2016 in Houston, Texas. Oscar is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Angelina G. Cortez; his sons, Oscar Cortez Jr. & wife Veronica, and Gilbert Cortez & Tanya; his daughter, Stephanie Ann Cortez & Erica; his sisters, Lillian, Josephine, & Lucy; his brothers, Raymond, Roy, Gilbert, Veco, & Johnny; his granddaughters, Priscilla, Thalia, & Tatyana. Oscar will be dearly missed by his loved ones.

Visitation will be held on Monday, June 13, 2016 from 4pm to 9pm with a service being held at 7:30pm at The Compean Funeral Home Main Chapel. Cremation will be held on a later day.
