Patricia "Patty" Ann Hickman
1971 ~ 2022
Patricia "Patty" Ann Trejo Hickman, age 51, passed away on May 2, 2022. She was born on March 16, 1971 in Houston, Texas to Thomas Trejo and Hope Gallegos. Patty graduated from Milby High School in 1989.
Patty married her first husband, Javier Rodriguez in 1990. They had two beautiful children, Lauren and John Charles. Patty married her second husband, Robert "Bob" Hickman, who loved her dearly, in 2004 after a 7-year courtship. Patty completed cosmetology school to pursue her dream of becoming an esthetician. After completing school, she began work at Sensia Japanese & Day Spa. Taking the knowledge she acquired at Sensia, Patty decided to branch out on her own and opened White Lotus Skin Care in 2004 in Sugar Land, Tx. She worked here for several years, developing her talents and growing a very large client base. She eventually decided to go back to her roots at Sensia and was there until she passed away. She loved her clients, and they loved her, many becoming her best friends.
Patty was a very talented artist. She always said she was most peaceful when she had the time to paint. Patty lived a healthy lifestyle, loved to jog in the early mornings, participate in marathons and mud runs. She was an accomplished body builder and in 2008 won First Place at the 2008 San Antonio Classic. However, her best achievement was being the best mother to her kids. She was the most devoted and loving mother and loved her kids more than anything, and would do anything for them. She was a true animal lover and leaves behind her fur babies, Pumpkin, Boots and Blackie. Patty had a heart of gold and was such a generous soul. She was so caring and nurturing to all. A true Angel lived amongst us while she was here with us. She will be missed and loved by all those that had the honor and pleasure of knowing her.
Patty is survived by her husband, Bob Hickman, son, John Charles Rodriguez, her parents, Thomas Trejo and Hope Gallegos, sisters, Rosalie Trejo, Cynthia Trejo, Esther Gonzales and husband Angel, and many nephews and nieces. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Lauren Lucio, fur baby Buddy, her Grandparents Dominga and Benny Gallegos, and her nephew Thomas Mendoza.
