Patricia B. Cruz, 71, passed on December 24,2020 at her residence in Pasadena, Tx.   Born in San Antonio, Texas on March 13,1949. She attended high school at Northside High (formally known as Jefferson Davis High. She was a retired Administrative Assistant. Patricia was married to Johnny Gilbert Torres Sr. for 10 years, then remarried to Joe Cruz in 1997 for one year.  Patricia was someone who would listen, teach, share & comfort. She found pleasure in crafting but truly excelled in jewelry making. She loved Tejano music and traveling to enjoy San Antonio Fiesta Week. She would never let others worry about her and gave whatever she had to anyone. She always put on a brave face and a wide smile; her laughter was contagious. We will miss you. She also loved to spend time with her four sisters who were her best friends.

Preceded in death by parent, Gabriel R. Benavides, Hope Cook, sister, Jamie A. Torres Sr., son. Survived by Victoria Garcia, mother, Johnny G. Torres, son, Patricia Y. Davidson, daughter, Isia Davidson Jr., Jamie A. Torres Jr., grandsons, Skye A. Davidson, Starr A. Davidson, granddaughters. Shirley A. Jensen (Rodney) San Antonio, TX, Edna Milsap (Robbinsville, NC), Maria Tristan Jacinto City, TX, Antonia (Jesse) Cerda Humble, TX, Yolanda DeLeon (Spring, TX), sisters. Gabriel H. Benavides, Andy Estrada (Nancy), Paul (Natalie)Estrada (Houston, TX), Lawrence (Martina) Estrada, Sr. (S. Houston, TX) brothers, various nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life gathering on Saturday, January 9, 2021, 5pm to 9 pm at the Compean Funeral Home. Located at 2102 Broadway Blvd., Houston, Tx 77012.
