Paul Anthony "Chato" Martinez, 51, was born on November 15, 1964 in Pasadena, Texas and entered into eternal rest on August 19, 2016 in Pasadena, Texas. Paul was preceded in death by his father, Johnny Garza; his brothers Ernest Garza and Joe Garza; and his niece Zhandra Cardona. He is survived by his mother, Dolores Garza; his sister-mom, Rachel Martinez; his sisters, Angie Garcia, Cynthia Garza, and Adela Martinez; his brother, Michael Martinez; he also left behind numerous nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends to cherish his memories.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 24, 2016 from 5pm to 9pm with a Prayer Service at 7pm at The Compean Funeral Home Main Chapel. Funeral Service will take place on Thursday, August 25, 2016 at 10am at The Compean Funeral Home Main Chapel. Interment will follow in Grandview Memorial Park. Forever In Our Hearts Fill not your hearts with pain and sorrow, but remember me in every tomorrow. Remember the joy, the laughter, the smiles, I've only gone to rest a while. Although my leaving causes pain and grief, my going has cased my hurt and given me relief. So dry your eyes and remember me, not as I am now but as I used to be.
