Paul "Wahoo" Zarate, 77, was born on April 12, 1943 in Bay City, Texas and called up to be with his Lord and Savior on October 28, 2020 in Houston, Texas.  Wahoo was a loving father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Marcelino Zarate and Alline Battise; his loving wife Guadalupe "Lupe" Zarate; and his brother, Marcelino Zarate, Jr..  Wahoo leaves behind to cherish his memories; his daughters, Mary Ann Spencer & husband Vernon and Paula Zarate Caudillo & husband Arthur, Jr.; his brother, Daniel Zarate; his sister, Gloria Zamora; his grandchildren, Miranda Amara Spencer, Vernon L. Spencer, Jr., Matthew Caudillo, Crystal Caudillo, Cayla Caudillo, Arthur Caudillo, III, and Allyssa Caudillo; his great grandchildren, Presley Marquez, Payton Marquez, Paxtin Marquez, Prince Williams, and Eli Carroll; and many other relatives and friends.  Wahoo will be greatly missed by all who shared wonderful memories with him.
