On Christmas morning 2019, Pedro C. Castro was called to be forever with the Lord. Pete was born to Santana and Bartola Castroin Paige, Texas. Pete worked in various occupations before moving to Houston and joining Parker Brothers, where he remained during several company transitions. He eventually retired from Parker Lafarge and pursued his own welding business. He was very loyal and dedicated to every position he held. Pete worked hard and at times had multiple jobs to support his large family. This value of hard work would be passed on to his children and grandchildren.
Pete loved his Dallas Cowboys and there was no persuading him otherwise. He loved his classic movies and TV shows, especially the old westerns. he was strong in his faith and attended Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church every Sunday, only missing when he was too ill to attend.
Pete is preceded in death by his parents Santana and Bartola. As well as siblings, Mathias, Benito, Justo, and Pauline. Also granddaughters, Angelle Victoria Diaz, Loreal Bronte Castro and great granddaughter, Lily M. Flores. Pete is survived by his wife of twenty-two years, Gloria L. Castro. Pete leaves behind his children with Ermelinda Castro, David Castro, Patricia Gonzalez & husband Jorge, Elizabeth Gomez & husband Raul, John Castro & wife Rosie, Gabriel Castro, melinda Diaz & husband Robert, Peter Castro & wife Leticia, Ruben Castro & wife Tiffany, Ben Castro & wife Michelle, and Angelo Castro & wife Amanda, twenty-six grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren, As well as brothers Vincent Castro & wife Lupe, Reyes Castro & wife Gloria and sister Delia Trevino and numerous nieces, nephews and family; Gloria's sons, David, Heath, and Eric and their families.
