Ramon T. Ramos 1940 - 2016

Ramon T. Ramos, 75, was born on April 1, 1940 in Nuevo Leon, Mexico and was called home to be with his Lord and Savior on January 20, 2016 in Houston, Texas. Ramon was a loving husband, father, and grandfather; a hardworking man and a fighter who lived by example. He was a long time member of Resurrection Catholic Church and Senior Citizen's of Denver Harbor. Ramon is preceded in death by his son, Jose Aristeo Ramos. Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Florinda Ramos; his sons, Ramon C. Ramos & wife Margarita and Ruben S. Ramos & wife Margaret J. Garza; his daughters, Maria Zamora & husband Humberto and Rosa Carmona & husband Antonio; his grandchildren, Raul, Karla, Roberto, Christopher, Matthew, Megan, Courtney, Humberto, Nicholas, Yesenia, and Edward; also by his great grandchildren, Aleighia, Trinidad, and Adalynn.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, January, 28, 2016 from 5pm to 9pm with a Rosary being recited at 7pm at The Compean Funeral Home Main Chapel. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, January 29, 2016 at 10am at Resurrection Catholic Church (915 Zoe St., Houston, TX 77020). Cremation will take place on a later day.
