Raul Soto Manriquez, 59, was born on October 8, 1956 in O'Donnell, Texas and was called home to be with his Lord and Savior on January 2, 2016 in Houston, Texas. Raul was a loving father, son, brother, uncle, and grandpa. He loved Tejano music and football. Raul is a former employee of The City of South Houston and was a current employee of The City of La Porte. A free sprited man that lived life the way he wanted will be dearly missed by all his loved ones. Raul is survived by his mother, Lydia Acree; his daughteres, Melissa Manriquez, Aurora Manriquez, Elena Manriquez, and Crystal Manriquez; his brother, Domingo Soto Manriquez; his sisters, Frances Soto Manriquez and Michelle Escobedo; 9 grandchildren, Joshua, Raquel, Roslyn, Renea, Ezekiel, Fransisco, Anissa, Aiden, and Ean; and 3 great grandchildren, Noah, James, and Ariel.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 8, 2016 from 5pm to 9pm with a Rosary being recited by Father Benigno Pardo at 7pm at The Compean Funeral Home Main Chapel. Funeral Service will take place on Saturday, January 9, 2016 at 11am with former military Pastor, Rev. George Hernandez officiating at The Compean Funeral Home Main Chapel. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery.Visits: 7
