Raymond M. Gutierres

Raymond Medina Gutierres, 87, passed away peacefully on December 19, 2015 surrounded by his wife of 66 years, Consuelo R. Gutierres; his son, Samuel Gutierres; his daughter, Shirley Gutierres Ortiz & son-in-law, Roy Ortiz. His family included three grandsons, Michael Ortiz, Christopher Ortiz, and Brian Ortiz; his granddaughter-in-law, Elena Ortiz; future granddaughter-in-law, Meghan Cruz; and one great grandson, Britton Ortiz. He was preceded in death by his son, Chris Gutierres.

He was a seaman with the U.S. Navy, his long term professional trade was a furniture upholster with Sears & Roebuck and Joske's and he was an active member of the Denver Harbor Senior Citizens Center.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 22, 2015 from 5pm to 9pm with a Rosary being recited at 7:30pm at The Compean Funeral Home Main Chapel. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, December 23, 2015 at 10am at Resurrection Catholic Church. Full Military Honors will be rendered at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery; Rite of Committal will follow.
