Raymond Luna, 57, was born March 29, 1963 in Houston, Texas and entered into eternal rest on January 18, 2021 in Houston, Texas. He was a proud Veteran, joined the U.S. Marines after he graduated Jefferson Davis High School. Raymond loved music, he was the Groove Music DJ of the Northside; he also loved baseball and played in several teams for 20 years. For over 21 years, Raymond held membership with the HLSR Rodeo Cookoff Team and was around as a Community Member of the Hideout for 20 years. Raymond was a loving son, husband, father, father in law, brother, uncle, friend, and specially the best grandfather. He was preceded in death by his father, Johnny Luna; by his son, Raymond Luna, Jr.; also by his daughter, Corrie Elizabeth. Raymond leaves behind to cherish and treasure his memories his mother, Alice Luna; his loving wife of 26 years of marriage, Yolanda Luna; his sons, Matt Reyna and Peter Gonzalez; his daughter, Andrea Garcia & husband Emanuel; his brother, Johnny Luna; his sisters, Mary Angeli & husband Mike and Dolores Gonzalez; his grandchildren, Nicholas, Christian, Isabella, and Jacob; special cousins, Laura Gamboa and Armando Luna; his God children, Lori Alaniz and David Rodriguez; he also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and a host of friends. Raymond will be dearly missed by all those who shared wonderful memories with him.
