1968 - 2021

Robert Castro was a faithful husband, incredibly caring father and loving son. He was a man who was far smarter than his occupation would say. He believed in helping people and making a difference in any way he could. He always was a hard worker, whether for his job or for his family. He supported his sons in everything they dreamed of, no matter how impossible something seemed. Even as his health deteriorated later in his life, he continued to keep a positive attitude and take care of himself in more ways than anyone could understand. He might of laid on his wife and sons later in his life as his mobility decreased, but they laid on him just as much. Robert was a man could talk to a group of strangers and make them feel like family within a matter of minutes. Robert’s legacy is solidified in his sons Christopher Castro and Charles Salas. He gave each of them a template on how to not only be successful in each of their respected dreams, but also how to be great men. They will forever be grateful. He was a loving husband to his wife, Deborah Castro. Through thick and thin, their love remained strong as life’s hardships continued relentlessly. Their love stayed burning until the very end. Robert Castro will never be forgotten by this world. He’s remembered by his wife, his two sons, his mother, step father, and his aunts and uncles.

Prayer Service: 7:00pm

Location: Compean Funeral Home Family Chapel

Cremation will take place on a later date.
