Robert Osborne Schmerber, 89, was born on July 15, 1926 in Eagle Pass, Texas to Cristobal and Leonor Schmerber, and was called home to be with his "Lord and Savior" on August 4, 2015 in Humble, Texas.  Robert is preceded in death by his beloved Parents; his Wife of 50 years, Eva O. Schmerber; his Daughters, Mary L. Raya and Gloria Morales; his Brothers, Fred Schmerber and Rodolfo Schmerber; and his Sister, Alice Schmerber.  Survivors include his Son, Rogelio Cantu, Jr.; Brothers, Christopher Schmerber, Joe Schmerber, and Harold Schmerber; Sisters, Josephine Garza and Yolanda Schmerber; Grandchildren, Becky L. Cantu, Johnny Morales, Debbie L. Cantu, Melissa A. Garret, Michelle Garrett, Anthony Garrett, Angela Garrett, Alicia Rodriguez, Gustavo Raya, Gilbert Morales, Jesse Morales, Anna Morales, Jason Cantu, Anthony Cantu, and Marc Cantu; 57 Great Grandchildren; and 22 Great Great Grandchildren.
