Roberto Mendoza, 69, was born on February 28, 1947 in Matamoros, Tamaulipas, Mexico and entered into eternal rest on October 5, 2016 in Houston, Texas. Roberto was a family man, he always took care and provided for his family. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Maria Elena Mendoza. Roberto leaves behind his sons, Roberto Mendoza, Jr. and Anselmo Mendoza; his daughters, Maria Elena Rocha, Alejandra Fernandez, and Maria Luisa Mendoza; his sisters, Nazaria Sandoval and Alejandra Salinas; 6 Grandchildren and 2 Great Grandchildren; also many relatives and friends. Roberto will be dearly missed by all those who love him.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 9, 2016 from 3pm to 8pm with a Prayer Service at 6pm at The Compean Funeral Home Main Chapel. Funeral Service will take place on Monday, October 10, 2016 at 10am at The Compean Funeral Home Main Chapel. Interment will follow in Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery.
