Rogelio Dela Rosa Sanchez "Roy" 1959 - 2016

Rogelio "Roy" Dela Rosa Sanchez, 56, was born on July 19, 1959 in Kingsville, Texas to Manuel Sanchez and Dionicia Dela Rosa and was called home to be with his Lord and Savior on July 10, 2016. Roy was a very hard working man, blunt but fun loving, had a lot of energy, ran marathons, coached; he loved adventures and loved to dance; he was also a volunteer a the Houston Live Stock Show and Rodeo. Roy will be dearly missed by all. He was preceded in death by his parents, Manuel & Dionicia Sanchez; his wife, Janie Sanchez; his sisters Alicia Perez and Rosa Sanchez; and his brothers, Manuel Jr, Miguel, and David Sanchez. Roy is survived by his Common Law Wife, Theresa G. Granadas; his step son, Frank Granadas III; his daughters, Deborah Michele Sanchez and Selena Elyse Sanchez; his borthers, Margarito & wife Dalia, Guadalupe, Reynaldo & wife Veronica; and Ramiro Sanchez; his sisters, Sylvia Sandoval & husband Vernon, Adeliata Leca & husband Lucio, and Virginia Garza & husband Guadalupe; his grandchild, Frank Granadas, IV; also survived by a host of loving nieces, nephews, and friends.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 13, 2016 from 6pm to 9pm with a Service at 7pm at The Compean Funeral Home Family Chapel. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, July 14, 2016 at 10:30am at Resurrection Catholic Church. Rite of Committal will follow in Historic Hollywood Cemetery.
