Rosa Maria Aguirre Hernandez, 72, was born on August 30, 1943 in Durango, Mexico and was called home to be with her Lord and Savior on July 13, 2016 in Houston, Texas. Rosa is survived by her son, Pedro Aguirre; her daughters, Maria Dolores Soto and Elena Miriam Aguirre; her brother, Raul Aguirre, her sisters, Oliva Aguirre and Antonia Aguirre; her grandchildren, Mirian Vanessa Soto, Alexis Arturo Cuapio, Rosa Jazmin Cuapio, Olga Rubi Cuapio, Pedro Ivan Flores, Rosa Crystal Flores, Jose De Jesus Sanchez, Josue Jael Sanchez, Brisa Aguirre, Estrella Aguirre, Emiliano Aguirre, and Kenia Aguirre; he great grandchildren, Fatima Elizabeth Garcia, Bryan Garcia Soto, Adrian Antonio Villafana, Emily Yado, and Raymond Yado.

Visitation will be held on Monday, July 18, 2016 from 4pm to 9pm with a Rosary being recited at 7pm by Enrique Contreras at The Compean Funeral Home Family Chapel. Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, July 19, 2016 at 12pm at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church (4015 Sherman, Houston, TX 77003) with Father Rodolfo Sanchez officiating. Rite of Committal will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
